Laptop and tools stolen from vehicle in Castleford.

A Dewalt cordless grinder, laptop, Ipad, mobile phone and keys were stolen from a vehicle at Willow Gardens,  Castleford in the early hours of Thursday 23 July. 

Please remain vigilant and take the following precautions:

Always lock your car, even when parked on your driveway.

Never leave items like wallets, bags or electronics visible inside your car.

Always double check that you have locked your vehicle by trying the door handle.

Vehicles with unfolded electric wing mirrors could indicate that it has been left unlocked. Car thieves are known to look out for vehicles with wing mirrors sticking out.

Offences can take place anywhere, in a car park, at the side of the road or on your driveway.

 

Report any suspicious activity to the police and inform your neighbours.
